San José Mayor Sam Liccardo and Southwest Airlines’ Vice President and Controller Leah Koontz will join SJC Interim Director of Aviation John Aitken to share details of new nonstop routes for Mineta San José International Airport (SJC).

Southwest, which serves the largest number of passengers at SJC, currently offers up to 76 departures daily to 16 U.S. cities from San José. The carrier has served SJC since 1993 and has plans for future growth to serve Silicon Valley travelers.
